Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian is the fifth epic installment in the Percy Jackson series. While the gods except Posiedon who fights his own battle against Oceanus and Hades's family who are hiding try to stop the great titan Typhon, the demigods are getting ready for one more battle against the Lord of Time, Kronos (in Luke's body) as he and his army are headed for New York City to end Olympus once and for all. Where Percy Jackson must finally except the Great Prophecy when he turns 16 to either end or save the world, with a cursed blade will end his days on the battle field on Manhattan. Percy Jackson and all of his remaining friends, allies, and family make their last stand against the titans, monsters, betraying demigods, and some of the jealous minor gods. Many lose their lives in the battle but by the end as Typhon was coming to Olympus Percy's friend Nico di Angelo finally convinces his father, Hades and the undead army to help Percy, the demigods, and his bothers and sisters and after Hades finally agrees he, Demeter, and Persephone come to help. Then Percy tells his father of the only way he could stop Typhon though it meant his realm would be destroyed Posiedon agreed and he and Tyson leading the cyclopes on Pegasi to make a tornado and extinguish Typhon's flames and then finish him sending it back to Tartarus. Then after noticing that Kronos still had not have full control over Luke, Annabeth and Percy got Luke back in control of his body and he ended up being the one who's days ended by cursed blade after he killed himself to prevent Kronos from reaching his true form and destroying Olympus so he got to achieve Elysium. After Hades' family were no longer outcasts and were honored and Hades was finally deemed as a real olymian. Nico's father finally was proud of his son and not sad that he hadn't died and Bianca had still been around. Annebeth got to be the new designer for Olympus to make it look better and be more prepared for more of Kronos's plans to destroy it. Tyson was made the leader of the cyclops army and got the new club that he wanted. Thalia got praised and all of her Hunters that went down got to achieve Elysium as well. Grover became the new member of the Counil of Cloven Elders. Dionysus's punishment was cut in half to only 50 more years. Finally Percy was given any one gift from the gods which they suggested should be to make him a god as his fathers lieutenant for all time. Though Percy refused because he wanted to live a full life and not stay 16 forever but Percy did wish that the make a oath on the River Styx. Then the gods had properly recognize the children of the gods, all the children of the gods so no demigods would fell abandoned by their parents and go to Krono's side again to get revenge so, the gods have to properly claim all their kids. All of the minor gods must be treated with respect, welcomed, and have their own separate cabins for their kids. The other peaceful Titan-kind should be pardoned for their mistakes and no more pact of the Big Three so the no more getting rid of powerful demigods.
